calligraphy

for around ten years, i practised my calligraphy each Christmas, working out a text or quotation and sending it out in the Christmas cards. i figured, as i’m sending the cards anyway, i might as well get some mileage out of it, more than “Seasons Greetings”, for the price of the stamp.

during that period, i sent a fair few cards every year, nigh on a hundred in fact. it was the annual Keep-In-Touch-With-My-Global-Commnuity Effort, all those folks i connected with along the way over the years, from Bangkok to the West Coast, and everywhere in between.

“HI EVERYONE – ALRIGHT?”

it was great, later, sometimes well later, to go around and see the text up on the wall somewhere – dear Lionel Bart had ‘Learning’ from Sword in the Stone up for ages.

so… here they are.
